Experience in both hardgoods and softgoods consumer products, as well as in managing the mix between in-house manufacturing, sourcing, and licensing, is essential. The ideal CPO will have a global mindset, be adept at Go-To-Market dynamics, and be able to translate market trends into successful product strategies.
