The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing and optimizing various revenue streams, including ticket sales, sponsorships, multimedia rights, and merchandising. This executive role requires a minimum of 10 years' experience in a complex institutional setting, with a deep understanding of the college sports landscape and a proven track record in revenue growth and management. The role involves strategic planning, market analysis, and the development of innovative revenue streams to ensure the financial health and growth of the intercollegiate athletics department.Applicants must have a Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience, with a background in financial analysis, budget management, and a strong skill set in sales, marketing, or related fields within the sports industry. The position demands excellent negotiation, relationship-building, and communication skills, as well as the ability to work effectively with a wide range of stakeholders. The Deputy Athletics Director/Chief Revenue Officer will also serve as a sport administrator, maintaining the competitive success of the assigned sports programs. Strong management and supervisory skills are essential, including the ability to recruit, retain, and develop staff.
