Apex Systems has an exciting opportunity for a Coordinate Measuring Machine (CMM) Programmer/Operator for our client, a global aerospace and defense company! Ideal candidates will have previous experience with GD&T, CMM programming, fixing, and tooling and interpreting drawings and specifications for development. ALL candidates MUST currently hold an Active Secret Clearance. #clearanceIf you or someone you know is interested in hearing more please send all resumes to aalburger@apexsystems.com for immediate consideration.Industry: Aerospace & DefenseLocation: King of Prussia, PA (onsite)Rate: Open for discussionLength: One Year Contract +Clearance Level: Active SecretCMM Programmer/Operator Job Description:Summary of Key Duties for this Position:\tDevelops and reviews quality standards, methods, work instructions and procedures for the inspection of manufactured and procured parts.\tDevelops CMM process including designing fixtures, determining probes, and programming the machines.\tIdentifies root cause of complex issues and ensures effective corrective / preventive action to improve processes.\tDevelops and implements new inspection processes and automation methods.\tUtilizes lean initiatives to reduce waste and maintain continuous improvement.Basic Qualifications:\tAbility to interpret drawings and specifications for development of quality standards, methods, work instructions and procedures for inspection of manufactured products (machined components and assemblies)\tKnowledge of Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerance (GD&T)\tExperience with CMM programming, fixturing, and tooling\tDemonstrated ability to use causal analysis tools to analyze and resolve technical / process issues\tProficient skill level with Microsoft Office applicationsDesired Skills:\tExperience programming Zeiss (Calypso) and / or LK CMMs\tExperience in GD&T\tExperience with automated processes and robotic technologies\tExperienced in reviewing tool designs\tLean / Six Sigma Green or Black Belt certification\tSAP Application experience\tExperience with use of inspection gages and measuring equipmentThank you,Amanda Alburger - Professional Recruiter, Applications and DevelopmentApex Systemsaalburger@apexsystems.comEEO EmployerApex Systems is an equal opportunity employer.
