Job Title: Cyber Security AnalystLocation: RemoteDuration: Contract Until End of Year (EOY); potential to extendJob Description:The global security team is seeking a Cyber Security Analyst to support the design, implementation, security, and ongoing maintenance of our cyber threat detection program. This role involves collaboration with various internal and external teams as part of our Threat Management and Response strategy.Responsibilities:• Research and stay updated on threat actors.• Perform detailed threat analysis using technical skills and experience.• Develop detection logic for new threats.• Validate detection and response capabilities through Breach and Attack Simulation exercises.• Enhance detection and response capabilities in collaboration with global security functions.• Create and deliver detailed technical reports and lessons learned.Ideal Candidate:• Passionate about cybersecurity, system monitoring, analysis, and incident response.• Skilled in identifying security detection gaps and executing projects to address them.• Excellent judgment, prioritization, and communication of technical security risks.• Acts as a security liaison supporting business units.• Proficient in using big data platforms and security tools like Apache Flink, Kafka, Hadoop, and Splunk.Qualifications:• Advanced degree in computer science, information technology, or equivalent.• 3+ years of experience in Penetration Testing or Threat Detection.• Experienced in manipulating and analyzing large data sets and query languages.• Strong knowledge of enterprise infrastructure and tools.
