Job Description: UX/UI DesignerPosition Overview: We are seeking a dedicated UX/UI Designer to join our team and lead the charge in enhancing the user experience of our website. This role is pivotal in transforming our current content and design elements to create a more intuitive, accessible, and responsive website.Key Responsibilities:\tAssist in the redesign of our website to ensure content is up-to-date, relevant, and engaging.\tDevelop and implement user flows, wireframes, and prototypes\tCollaborate with a team to revamp website content.\tGuide the overall design direction, focusing on user experience and accessibility.\tCraft content strategies that simplify navigation to key sections\tHelp transition the website from WordPress to a new CMS\tDesign content types and page layouts that enhance user experience, aiming for a maximum of two clicks for users to find the information they need.Qualifications:\tProven experience in UX design, with a strong portfolio showcasing responsive website projects.\tProficiency in UX tools such as FIGMA, Sketch, and InVision.\tExperience with site flows, wireframing, and prototype creation.\tFamiliarity with accessibility standards, ideally WCAG 2.0 compliance.\tAbility to lead content strategy and manage design elements.\tVisual design skills with sensitivity to user-system interaction.\tStrong communication skills to articulate design processes and decisions.Additional Requirements:\tA minimum of three years of relevant experience.\tWillingness to work in a hybrid role, with at least three days on-site as needed.\tLeadership skills to guide a team and spearhead major content overhauls.This is a 6-month minimum engagement with the potential for extension.
