Job Overview:We are seeking a meticulous and detail-oriented Compliance Analyst to join our team. The Compliance Analyst will be central in offering procedural direction and aiding The company's personnel in resolving intricate import/export matters. They will conduct regular evaluations of the company's import/export operations and oversee other business and program endeavors that influence import/export compliance. This role will predominantly act as the in-house authority on export/import regulations. Moreover, they will be responsible for devising, managing, and implementing systems and protocols to guarantee adherence to export/import laws and regulations, both domestically and internationally.Supervisory Responsibilities:• NoneResponsibilities• Evaluate import/export trade updates and notifications and ensure their distribution to all divisions.• Supervise and coordinate annual SAM Registrations for each office within the holdings company.• Establish and uphold an Import Compliance Policy manual to guarantee adherence to regulatory requirements, industry standards, and Corporate policies.• Conduct regular audits of import and export transactions for entities to pinpoint and resolve any compliance issues, providing recommendations based on audit findings and identified risks.• Provide training sessions on government laws and regulations, as well as company policies and procedures related to trade compliance.• Assess, respond to, and escalate, if necessary, all government inquiries concerning trade compliance.• Provide oversight and guidance on daily compliance matters, including Restricted Party Screening, Encryption, ECCN classification, end-use/user restrictions, sanctions, export license determination and application drafting, and matters requiring escalation.• Oversee and guide day-to-day compliance matters on Restricted Party Screening, Encryption, ECCN classification, end-use/user restrictions, sanctions, export license determination and drafting license applications, and escalation matters.• Providing support for America's regional implementation of other Corporate Compliance policies and programs.Qualifications:• Bachelor's degree (BS or BA) is preferred; however, candidates with 5 or more years of experience in import/export administration will be considered.• Certification in relevant areas is advantageous but not mandatory.• Profound understanding of U.S. import and export control laws and regulations, particularly Export Administration Regulations (EAR), as well as familiarity with international trade regulations and Schedule B/HTS codes.• Proficiency in defining Export Control Classification Numbers (ECCN) according to the Commerce Control List (CCL), with the ability to seek support from technical staff when needed.• Self-motivated, and highly organized, with excellent planning skills and the capacity to manage multiple deadlines effectively.Skills:- Regulatory reporting- Corporate accounting- Securities law- GAAP- Compliance management- GAASJoin our team as a Compliance Analyst and contribute to maintaining the highest standards of compliance within our organization.
