The successful candidate will be a key player in driving value creation and business outcomes for the company and its portfolio. This role involves spearheading a range of financial and operational initiatives, partnering with the investment team on acquisition activities, and leading the development and implementation of financial and operational strategies to maximize the performance of each portfolio company. The Managing Director of Finance will also be responsible for establishing performance metrics, overseeing financial reporting, and budgeting, and will serve as a CFO and business partner to the portfolio companies.Applicants must have a minimum of 10 years' experience in building and leading FP&A functions, with a preference for those who have worked in an acquisitive private equity-backed small or medium-sized business in the consumer sector. The role requires a candidate who is intellectually curious, entrepreneurial, and technologically sound, with a proven track record of being a motivated, energetic leader. Key skills include the ability to conduct in-depth financial analysis, develop strategic business plans, and manage vendor partnerships. The ideal candidate will be an exceptional decision-maker, have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, and demonstrate integrity and ethics in all aspects of their work.
