Cybersecurity Operations Engineer12+ month contract -- Strong potential to extendAustin, TX Highly PreferredIf interested and meet the necessary requirements, please e-mail your most up to date resume to LHeim@apexsystems.comThis position is to assist the Cybersecurity Operations Center team to provide Security tool administration in the area of Internet of Things and Operational Technology (IoT/OT) Monitoring Services. The position will both administer the tool and oversee deployment into previously unmonitored areas. The position is to replace an existing Project Manager position assigned to the project that will be rolled off. The tool administration position is projected to be needed until the project concludes and is not intended to be a long-term position.Minimum Years of Experience, Skills, and Qualifications\t8 Years: Configuration and/or administration of Network Security monitoring and incident response tools with a preference for Internet of Things and Operational Technology (IoT/OT) experience.\t8 Years: Skill in using logic and reasoning to identify the strengths and weaknesses of alternative solutions, conclusions, or approaches to problems.\t8 Years: Deployment and/or design of network security monitoring tools.Preferred Skills and Qualifications\t6 Years: Knowledge of network facilities and data processing techniques, network operating system and security software, and performance monitoring and capacity management tools.\t6 Years: Knowledge of network protocols, at the border, transport, and routing interfaces and methods for isolating, segmenting, and analyzing traffic at appropriate points.\t2 Years: Experience with the Cisco Cybervision family of products.EEO EmployerApex Systems is an equal opportunity employer.
