UI/UX Developer

Position: UI/UX DeveloperLength: 12-month contractLocation: Richmond, VA- On-site/Remote hybridOverview:The UI/UX Developer is responsible for the development and execution of HTML/CSS/Javascript content implemented on third-party, partner websites while maintaining consideration of the partners’ interface and brand guidelines. This role requires problem solving, troubleshooting code, and tackling day-to-day challenges while working in a collaborative environment. Additionally, the role requires seeking best practices and sharing knowledge with others. This role supports efforts including implementations, enhancements, optimization activities and ongoing maintenance. This role also supports meeting and exceeding Incremental Revenue and Client Satisfaction targets within the broader Optimization program.Responsibilities:\tTechnical development of UI/UX experiences for integrated partner offers\tContribute to the development of the creative culture, internal tools, and quality standards\tResponsible for creating interactive marketing templates to be utilized in the presentation of insurance content implemented on partner websites\tCreate mock-ups and visual prototypes as required\tMust keep current with new browser standards, specifications, versions, capabilities & limitations as it relates to responsive web development and mobile app development\tAct as a subject matter expert for HTML/CSS/Javascript needs and have working knowledge of XML/JSON for partner integrations\tContribute to an Agile project team to help understand and document client code requirements, estimate work, and extend existing solutions\tEffectively manage and communicate code- and design-related topics to both internal and client- facing stakeholders\tCollaborate and iterate seamlessly with other disciplines within the design organization to generate ideas, concepts, reusable code, and consistent user experiences to aid in advanced testing and optimization techniques\tOrganize and communicate task status clearly in daily scrum (self-organizing teams) while keeping functional head routinely informed on general progress and strategic initiatives\tMay perform other duties as assigned.Requirements:\tBachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Web Design & Development, Interactive Media, Advertising or related field. 4+ years of prior relevant experience. Additional experience in the specialty in lieu of degree also considered\tMust possess a deep understanding in related creative tracks: design, interactive development and user experience, including responsive design\tPortfolio of design work\t4+ years experience in a wide range of HTML/CSS editing tools and environments\t4+ years experience creating custom CSS frameworks or extending frameworks like Bootstrap\tDesign proficiency in Adobe Creative Cloud\tAbility to work within a hybrid Agile environment\tExcellent analytical and process-oriented skills.Preferred Skills:\t4+ years of experience gathering user requirements and developing against mock-ups and prototypes of user experiences.\tExperience with prototyping tools such as Adobe XD, Figma, or similar.\tKnowledge of iOS and Android native and hybrid application integration\tUnderstanding of modern JavaScript based frameworks, such as Angular and React\tUnderstanding of practical application of current WCAG 2.1 AA-level guidelines\tKnowledge of WSDL, web services, JavaScript, and jQuery for web applications\tKnowledge of e-commerce best practices, purchase path optimization, and/or behavioral economicseloperClient: Allianz PartnersLength: 12-month contractLocation: On-site hybrid, Tuesday and Thursday in officeMust have skills:\t2-3 years of experience in HTML, CSS, Javascript.
