About the Role
The Company is seeking a VP of Marketing and Communications to lead a dynamic, world-class integrated marketing and communications function. The successful candidate will be responsible for creating and executing a complete marketing and comms strategy that effectively differentiates the company's unique value proposition, drives sales across all customer buying stages, and delivers exponential ROI. This role involves managing a small team and external agencies and working closely with various internal teams to capture market opportunities and maintain a leading position in fleet electrification and charging infrastructure.
The VP will also be tasked with developing targeted marketing activities for diverse B2B audiences, building a trackable marketing growth engine, and setting a new standard for creative output that supports the sales team's needs.
Applicants for the VP of Marketing and Communications position should have at least 10 years of experience in marketing and/or communications, with a strong preference for those with a background in marketing. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of driving top-line growth, designing and executing effective marketing campaigns, and customizing messaging for different B2B audiences. Deep experience in lead generation, revenue attribution, and managing marketing media buyers is essential.
The role requires a strategic thinker with excellent writing and storytelling skills, as well as the ability to work hand-in-hand with sales leadership to support lead generation and win new business. Experience in clean energy, renewables, sustainability, energy, EVs, automotive, or industrial B2B sectors is a plus. The candidate should also be an excellent communicator, adept at distilling complex issues and preparing executive-level summaries, and should align with the company's core values of respect, integrity, and commitment to diversity and equal opportunity.
