The successful candidate will be tasked with team leadership, including the recruitment, management, and mentorship of a sales team. A key responsibility will be the development and execution of a comprehensive sales strategy to meet growth targets, with a focus on market expansion in the SaaS and hardware sectors. The role also involves building and maintaining customer relationships, particularly with key decision-makers, and providing market insights to inform product development and marketing strategies. The ideal candidate should have a minimum of 10 years' sales experience, with at least 5 years in a leadership role, and a background in at least one of the following industries: agriculture, horticulture, cannabis, CBD, or hemp. Applicants for the VP of Sales position at the company should possess a Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, agriculture, or a related field, with an MBA being preferred. A strong understanding of the sales processes in SaaS, hardware, and e-commerce environments is essential. The role requires excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills, as well as proficiency in CRM software and other sales tools. The candidate must be results-oriented, with the ability to work both independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
