Job Description

Your Role As a HealthStreamer

Position Summary

Our Scheduling and Capacity Management Professional Services team is looking for a Configuration Specialist, which is a key implementation resource, responsible for analyzing customer business requirements and processes for our ANSOSTM Time and Attendance software application. The Configuration Specialist is also responsible for working with the Project Manager and Implementation Consultant to meet project delivery milestones.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

The selected candidate will work with the Professional Services team members and sometimes provide direct customer contact to deliver custom-built time and attendance functionality for our ANSOS Time and Attendance (ATA) application and its interfaces. The candidate must be self-motivated and proactively consult on best practice methodology, configuration design and build activities to ensure customer success. Technical configuration experience, preferably with a time and attendance or payroll application, is required.

What You Will Need to be Successful

Education, Experience and Knowledge Required

• Minimum of 5 years in healthcare IT industry with focus on development/setup of clinical healthcare applications, such as payroll, time and attendance, human resource and their interfaces is preferred

• 4 years at college level in degree program or equivalent experience

• Programming knowledge while ATA programming language is custom, it is close to Excels type of formulas

• Proper understanding of payroll procedures, pay policies, leave and benefit policies

• Experience implementing system upgrades, releases and enhancements

• Experience with providing technical support

• Knowledge and experience to customize and work with JavaScript for application and interfaces

• Basic knowledge and experience with SQL queries for editing and troubleshooting

  
  

Skills and Abilities Required

• Ability to test, modify, tune and document interface implementations

• Ability to train and develop policy and procedure documentation

• Ability to apply analytical and critical thinking to strategies, practices, and problem-resolution and trouble shoot system issues

• Ability to design and configure the best solution for customer requirements

• Consult with customers on system configuration, specific features and system processes and procedures.

• Conduct requirement assessment workshops with the Implementation Consultant, customer team members and stakeholders

• Prepare functional and technical solution design documents, configure and deliver the solution to the customer

• Work with projects managers to align project milestones and ensure timely delivery

• Communicate with customer in a timely, professional manner and escalate issues to the Project Manager, as necessary.
