Novated Lease Settlements Officer (AU)

Schedule: Monday to Friday (09:00 AM to 06:00 PM AEST

What are we looking for?

Skills Required:

  • Attention to Detail: Exceptional ability to manage detailed processes, ensuring accuracy and completeness in settlement transactions.
  • Customer Service: Strong communication skills, with a professional and customer-focused approach.
  • Process Management: Ability to follow and improve established settlement procedures, ensuring efficiency and compliance at all times.
  • Data Management: Proficiency in using systems such as Salesforce and Catch-e for data entry, documentation, and tracking settlements.
  • Financial Acumen: Basic understanding of financial transactions related to settlements, including invoicing and payment reconciliation.
  • Time Management: Ability to handle multiple settlements simultaneously, prioritising tasks to meet deadlines.
  • Experience: Previous experience in a settlements, finance, or salary packaging role is preferred

What will you do?

The Novated Lease Settlements Officer is responsible for overseeing the end-to-end settlement process of novated leases, ensuring all contracts, documentation, and payments are processed efficiently and accurately. The role requires close coordination with clients, employers, and internal teams to ensure smooth transitions and adherence to salary packaging guidelines.

Client and Driver Communication:

  • Engage with clients and drivers to understand their settlement requirements, providing assistance and resolving queries throughout the process.
  • Ensure clients are well-informed about the next steps in the settlement process, maintaining a high standard of customer service.

Contract and Settlement Processing:

  • Follow established procedures to manage and finalise novated lease settlements, ensuring all contracts and documentation are correctly completed and submitted.
  • Coordinate with relevant teams and external parties, such as lenders and insurers, to ensure all aspects of the lease are accurately processed.

Data Entry and System Management:

  • Accurately input client and contract data into systems such as CRM’s, Lender Portal and Fleet management software and maintaining up-to-date records of all settlements.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies and industry regulations in the management of settlement records and documentation.

Post-Settlement Support:

  • Provide clients with post-settlement support, ensuring they are informed about payroll deductions and any further steps required after the lease is settled.
  • Address any follow-up inquiries or adjustments that may arise after the settlement is complete.

Professionalism and Compliance:

  • Ensure all work is completed with attention to detail, efficiency, and accuracy.
  • Maintain a high level of professionalism in all communications with clients, employers, and third parties.
  • Follow company policies and procedures, and comply with all legal and regulatory requirements related to novated lease settlements.
