Proposal Writer (AU Construction, Hybrid)

Salary: P 60,000-80,000 (Monthly Package) 

Schedule: Monday – Friday (06:00 AM - 03:00 PM Manila Time)

What are we looking for? 

Skills Required:  

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Communications, Marketing, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
  • 2+ years of experience as a Proposal Writer, Bid Writer, or similar role, ideally within a commercial services industry
  • Experience in commercial painting or construction-related fields is an advanatge 
  • Proficiency in Microsoft CRM Dynamics for managing customer information and tracking project history (open to training employee if no prior experience in CRM Dynamics) relevant tool experience is applicable. 
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Word and Excel for managing Take-off documents and cost data. 
  • Experience with SharePoint for document storage and collaborative work.
  • Familiarity with Templafy or any similar proposal generation and management software. 
  • Writing and Editing Skills: Exceptional written communication skills with strong attention to detail, grammar, and document formatting. 
  • Organizational Skills: Strong project management abilities, including the ability to manage multiple proposals concurrently and meet strict deadlines.

  • Collaboration: Effective communication and teamwork skills for interacting with various departments and gathering necessary information.

  • Proactive Approach: Proactively seek clarification, identify missing information, and propose solutions to streamline proposal processes. 

What will you do? 

The Proposal Writer / Bid Writer is responsible for producing high-quality, compelling, and customized proposals and bid documents that respond to client needs and align with the business’s strategic goals in the commercial painting sector.  

Proposal and Bid Development: 

  • Develop, write, and edit proposal documents, including RFPs, RFQs, RFIs, and bids, tailored to the commercial painting industry. 
  • Utilize Microsoft CRM Dynamics to gather and analyze customer data, contact history, and past projects to inform proposal creation. 

Document Management and Organization: 

  • Manage proposal documentation through SharePoint to ensure organized and accessible records of all proposal-related materials. 

Branding and Template Management: 

  • Use Templafy and similar quote and proposal systems through Microsoft word to maintain consistent branding, formatting, and content in all proposal documents. 

Compliance and Quality Assurance: 

  • Ensure proposals meet all client specifications, regulatory requirements, and company standards.

Client and Stakeholder Collaboration: 

  • Communicate effectively with internal stakeholders, including the Sales and Business Development teams, to clarify project specifications and confirm bid requirements.
