What are we looking for?

Position Summary:

The purpose of a Senior Loan Processor is to assist Australian mortgage brokers with administrative tasks to prepare, process and track loan applications. The role requires you to communicate with relative stakeholders, prepare documentation, keep systems and CRMs updated, and follow a loan application from pre-submission to post approval within required timeframes. This role also requires you to contribute to making the overall customer experience a smooth and streamlined process.

Essential:

●      Certificate IV Financing & Mortgage Broking

●      Bachelor’s Degree in a relevant course.

●      More than 4 years of experience in an Australian mortgage broking industry specialising in AU loan processing.

●      Experience in using aggregators CRM such as MyCRM, Infynity, Mercury Nexus, Flex or Salestrekker.

●      Is proficient in using IT software, Google Workspace and/or Microsoft Office including Gmail or Outlook.

●      Experience using Project/Task Management Tools (Monday.com, Trello, Airtable etc).

What will you do?

Key Responsibilities: 

  1. Document management (collecting, renaming, organising, following up sensitive supporting documentation)
  2. NCCP Compliance checks and transcribing notes from summaries to detailed responses
  3. Calculate income for both PAYG and Self Employed applicants
  4. Understand and interpret complex financials (Self employed, trusts and company)
  5. Complete lender servicing calculators
  6. Data entry of client information to MyCRM (LMG CRM system)
  7. Data entry of a loan application into MyCRM and Apply Online (AOL),  Simpology, or direct to the lender.
  8. Living expense analysis
  9. Assist in researching lenders who have a specific policy to suit the clients requirements
  10. Generation of application paperwork, including those for the First Home Buyers and Discharge forms.
  11. Ordering Valuations based on the information provided by the broker, understanding the different types of valuations and communicating with valuation firms to discuss or escalate.
  12. Pricing requests across multiple lenders, for new applications and settled loans.
  13. Generating comprehensive credit reports and being able to interpret them.
  14. Assist in mitigating MIRs, Conditional Approvals and Settlement Conditions.
