Content Architect

KORE1, a nationwide provider of staffing and recruiting solutions, has an immediate opening for a remote Content Architect.


Essential Functions:
  • Collaborate with client business, marketing, operational and IT partners to design appropriate data models, taxonomies, and metadata schemas to optimize search (findability) and content reuse (efficiency) of digital operations
  • Educate client teams on best practices to organize and structure content and digital assets across relevant domains (content, marketing, brands, industries, etc.).
  • Guide selection and configuration of content systems and platforms that are used to create, store, and distribute content. This includes selecting and (potentially) implementing content management systems (CMS), digital asset management systems (DAM), and other related technologies.
  • Work closely with client teams to enhance workflows, with an eye towards simplification and automation.
  • Lead discussions and deliverables related to content governance framework design, policies and use case development and related training sessions.
  • Work with EIS Delivery and client team members to define and execute tagging strategies, with the goal to implement methods of machine-assistance and auto-classification through AI and text analytics and machine learning techniques.
  • Determine key metrics for success, in areas of content taxonomy, operational efficiency, content quality and efficacy



  • Experienced candidates must have 8+ years (Principal level) or 6+ years (Lead level) of demonstrated experience working for a consulting firm or a professional services division of a software company, with at least 3 years in a Content Architect role
  • Expert-level understanding of CMS, CCMS, DAM, Search, and related MarTech platforms and technology solutions
  • Expert-level understanding of content modeling, componentized content design, taxonomy, and metadata design for content reuse, efficiency, omnichannel delivery, and personalization
  • Strong understanding named entity recognition and classification techniques, and best practices in content classification and tagging (including AI and machine learning technologies)
  • Strong understanding of the connection of content model to Search, SEO and Customer Experience (CX)
  • Understanding of technical concepts like APIs, search, front end applications in order to collaborate with technical teams around the impact on content
  • Understanding of knowledge graphs, ontology design and sematic-based domain modeling
  • In-depth experience with process improvement methodologies (e.g. Lean Six Sigma), process design, business analysis, and requirements definition
  • In-depth experience with the definition and rollout of governance and change management programs
  • In-depth experience with content strategy and solution architecture design and implementation in complex, technical enterprise environments
  • Excellent verbal, presentation, facilitation, and written communication skills
  • Experience using data and metrics to drive improvements
  • Delivery and communicating results to senior leadership
