About the role
Morning Brew is looking for a Content Marketing Associate to join the Growth organization. Reporting to our Content Engagement Manager, the Content Engagement Associate will drive audience interest and engagement with our B2B franchise content, events, and multimedia.
What you'll do:
Content Marketing/SEO/B2B Editorial
- Build and execute multi-channel marketing strategies to drive traffic and engagement to key editorial content, events, and multimedia.
- Strategize, write and co-develop thought leadership, content, and creative copy for the website, email marketing, social media, articles, white papers, reports, podcasts, etc., that strengthens the brand(s) content voice.
- Manage a marketing calendar that ensures timely delivery of content.
- Apply best practices to content development, including keyword research, delivery, and optimization through content marketing strategies and best practices, campaign strategy, client/industry research and assets, storytelling, conversion techniques, creative copywriting, SEO, brand tone and voice, etc
- Create meaningful reports using data, trends, and insights to track strategy and make recommendations on delivery and optimization, especially as it relates to audience behaviors.
Content Marketing/B2B Events
- Produce web content, email marketing, and cross-promotion opportunities to grow our audience through organic channels.
- Contribute to social media postings and management of social media content calendar
- Work with Growth Marketing Managers to drive event attendance and engagement
- Continuously measure and improve content performance to align registration goals
About you
- 1-2 years of content marketing experience
- Strong organizational and project management skills
- Desire to work in a fast-paced environment
- Deep intellectual curiosity and strong work ethic
- Experience with SEO platforms (SEMrush) a plus
- Experience with SEO tools (Screaming Frog, Lighthouse, etc.) a plus
- Experience with project management platforms (Monday.com) a plus
- An undergraduate degree in a marketing, journalism and/or communications
