Company Description

The Business Area ContiTech develops, produces and markets products, systems and intelligent components made from rubber, plastic, metal and textiles. These products are used in mining, the agricultural industry, railway engineering mechanical and plant engineering, the automotive industry and other important sectors of the future.

Job Description

The Continuous Improvement Co-op is a year round position that provides support to the Plant. The schedule for the position is flexible to work with school schedule. While school is in session need to work a minimum of 10 hours but can flex up to 40 hours when school is not in session.

This position provides diverse experience in the functions of rubber manufacturing. In this role you will be involved in the support of the production operations from an engineering and business perspective. This position is exposed to various manufacturing processes and systematic problem solving tools. 
Assignments Include:

  • Project Management
  •  Projects related to production efficiency measures and improvements
  •  Improving Belt production processing
  •  Data Entry
  •  Other tasks to support business operations

Qualifications

REQUIREMENTS

  • Must have completed 15 hours of schooling
  • Must have a GPA of 3.5 or higher
  • Must be enrolled as a full time student
  • Must have experience with Microsoft Applications


DESIRED EDUCATION / EXPERIENCE / SKILLS:

  • 2+ years remaining till completion of a Bachelor's degree.
  • Good problem solving skills
