This is an exciting opportunity to utilize your skills in Electrical Design, Building Codes, and various Electrical Systems. You will be the backbone of our team, leading the design and implementation of power distribution systems, lighting systems, auxiliary systems, fire alarm systems, access control systems, voice/data systems, and CCTV. Proficiency in AutoCAD and Revit is a must. If you are passionate about creating systems that are both functional and efficient, we would love to hear from you.ResponsibilitiesAs a Senior Electrical Designer (MEP), your responsibilities will include• Developing and designing electrical systems for various building types in accordance with the latest building codes and standards.• Utilizing AutoCAD and Revit to create detailed electrical system layouts and schematics.• Designing power distribution systems, lighting systems, auxiliary systems, fire alarm systems, access control systems, voice/data systems, and CCTV.• Collaborating with architects, engineers, and project managers to ensure electrical designs are integrated seamlessly with other building systems.• Conducting system calculations and prepare equipment specifications.• Reviewing and approving contractor submissions and provide solutions to field issues.• Leading and mentoring junior designers and drafters, fostering a collaborative and innovative work environment.QualificationsTo be considered for the Senior Electrical Designer (MEP) role, you will need• A minimum of 6+ years of experience in MEP electrical design.• Proficiency in AutoCAD and Revit.• Comprehensive knowledge of electrical systems, including power distribution systems, lighting systems, auxiliary systems, fire alarm systems, access control systems, voice/data systems, and CCTV.• Familiarity with the latest building codes and standards.• Exceptional problem-solving skills and attention to detail.• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.• A degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field is preferred.• Professional Engineering (PE) license is a plus.If you are a creative thinker with a passion for electrical design and a desire to shape the future of the engineering industry, apply today!Interested in hearing more?
