Framatome is seeking a Sales Support or Assistant for our Old Forest Road office in Lynchburg, VA or our office in Charlotte, North Carolina. Under close supervision, this position is responsible for assisting and supporting Cezus Inc America Sales Manager, external sales team within the DOC Division of the Fuel Business Unit, with principal objective to keep building existing customer loyalty and help the development of sales for North and South America Regions by administering and controlling customer contracts for materials and services.


Primary responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • General:
    • Supports the Sales Manager with daily office management duties to include but not limited to responding to customer and vendor inquiries, seeking new business opportunities, and special projects as assigned.
    • Tracks key team milestones, supports operational plans and initiatives; makes necessary updates and adjustments as determined by Sales Manager.
    • Facilitates the timely completion of customer orders for parts and services.
    • Coordinates workflow through DOC Plants to end customers including shipping subcontractors
    • Monitors contract activity to ensure schedule is maintained.
  • ERP System:
    • Inputs and maintain relevant offers and purchase orders data in ERP system (SAP); retains documentation and records for quality assurance and compliance.
  • Logistics:
    • Communicates with plant and transportation service providers; tracks product flow from point of origin to final delivery destination.
    • Verifies customer and purchase order information for completeness and accuracy.
    • Monitors and track shipment and proof of actual on time delivery; maintains accurate records of completed orders.

  • Administration:
    • Prepares all necessary sales order documentation and obtains required signatures necessary to close sales order.
    • Serves as liaison between management, plant operations, and finance teams by providing timely support and responding to inquiries.
    • Performs accounting activities to include follow-up of customer invoices, credit adjustments ensuring correct billing and payments.
    • Compiles and analyze order management data and trends, presents finding and recommendations to management to promote continuous improvements.
    • Assists in developing and documenting operational procedures for order management processing steps.
  • Others:
    • Plays an active role in creating a safe and healthy workplace and comply with all applicable safely and health rules.
    • Maintains a strict high level of confidentiality.

All candidates must meet the following minimum requirements to be considered for this opportunity:

  • Bachelors Degree in Business Administration or Logistics and Supply Chain Management or related field or Associates Degree and a minimum of 2 years of experience.

The following may be used to differentiate candidates who apply for this position:

  • Strong verbal and written communication skills, familiar with basic financial concepts (turnover, margin, KPIs).
  • Excellent PC-based application skills such as MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Project) and familiar with ERP systems (SAP).
  • Builds constructive relationships, communicates, learns constantly, shows creativity, takes initiatives, knows the professional environment, is results oriented, is quality oriented, is customer oriented. Demonstrates organizational agility.
  • Excellent analysis, report development, and presentation skills. Integrity and Trust.
  • Some knowledge in French is preferred.
  • Presents strong problem identification and resolution skills with emphasis on "root cause" analysis.
  • Strong knowledge and understanding of sales industry terminology and product life cycle. Order tracking/management
  • 2 to 4 years of sales contract/proposal management experience highly preferred

Our total rewards package

The range of base salary for the position is between $53,000-$68,000, and may also include annual incentives, performance bonuses and benefits. Please note that the base salary range is a guideline, and individual total compensation will vary based on factors such as qualifications, skill level, competencies and work location.
