Join us on our journey to #ForeverCaring as a Scrum Master – Global Marketing Ostomy Care (Fixed Term Contractor), and you’ll do the same.The Scrum Master – Global Marketing Ostomy Care (Fixed Term Contractor) will coach the global marketing team on the adoption and use of Agile marketing tools and processes to improve overall efficiency and output of the team. This role will lead project core teams comprised of various marketing team members to drive accountability and coordination of campaign and product launch plans milestones.Please note this is initially slated as a Part-Time,12-month Fixed Term Contract.ABOUT THE ROLEKey Responsibilities:• Agile Coaching: Work with cross-functional teams to help them adopt and adapt Agile practices that improve team productivity, communication, and collaboration.• Scrum Master Duties: Act as a Scrum Master for one or more Agile teams, guiding them through the Scrum framework, facilitating daily stand-ups, sprint planning, reviews, and retrospectives.• Facilitate Agile Ceremonies: Organize and facilitate Agile ceremonies such as sprint planning, daily stand-ups, sprint reviews, and retrospectives.• Team Empowerment: Help teams become self-organizing and accountable, empowering them to take ownership of their deliverables and outcomes.• Remove Impediments: Actively work to identify and remove impediments that are slowing down the team’s progress, ensuring smooth sprint execution.• Collaboration: Foster an environment of collaboration within the team and with external stakeholders, facilitating clear communication and alignment with business objectives.• Continuous Improvement: Encourage a mindset of continuous improvement by helping teams identify areas for improvement and guiding them through the process of implementing these changes.• Stakeholder Engagement: Communicate effectively with business stakeholders, ensuring that expectations are managed and that the team is aligned with business priorities.• Metrics and Reporting: Track and report on key Agile metrics (e.g., velocity, burn-down charts) to ensure transparency and inform decision-making.• Agile Evangelism: Promote Agile best practices and a culture of agility throughout the organization, including coaching at the leadership and team levels.ABOUT THE PERSONQualifications/Education• Bachelor’s degree• Advanced Agile Certifications: Agile Coaching certification (e.g., ICP-ACC, ICP-ATF) or advanced Scrum certifications (e.g., A-CSM, CSP-SM).• Experience in Multiple Industries: A track record of applying Agile practices in various business domains (e.g., technology, HR, marketing, finance).• Leadership Development: Experience in coaching and mentoring leaders in Agile practices.• Familiarity with the Microsoft suite of products.Key requirements• Agile Experience: 3+ years of experience in a Scrum Master, Agile Coach, or similar role, guiding teams in Agile practices and principles.• Scrum Master Certification: Certified ScrumMaster (CSM) or similar certification.• Agile Frameworks: Strong understanding of Agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban, Lean) and experience in applying them in both technical and non-technical environments..• Facilitation and Coaching Skills: Demonstrated experience in facilitating Agile ceremonies, coaching teams, and resolving conflicts.• Problem-Solving Skills: Proficiency in identifying and removing impediments, improving team performance, and leading continuous improvement efforts.• Strong Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to engage and influence team members, stakeholders, and leadership.• Team Player: Proven ability to work with cross-functional teams and foster a positive and collaborative working environment.Our progress will give you countless opportunities to move forward too.
