As a Senior Business Development Manager with Convera, you'll have the exciting opportunity to work from home while still engaging directly with clients from the comfort of your Chicago office on a hybrid basis. Your primary mission will be to cultivate a robust pipeline of small-to-medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) and corporate customers, particularly in the dynamic world of international payments and hedging solutions. You'll employ your expertise to not only meet but exceed new business revenue objectives by empowering partners to manage their payment needs effectively. In this role, you’ll actively prospect within the SME and Corporate sectors by identifying and reaching out to new prospects through creative networking and industry events. Your hands-on approach will see you navigate the sales process all the way to client setup and transactions, ensuring you hit specific targets along the way. Convera values subjects matter expertise, so your deep understanding of specific industries will be crucial as you deliver customized solutions to your clients. You’ll also need to stay on top of the foreign exchange (FX) market and legislative requirements to assure clients that you’re their go-to resource.
