QUALIFICATIONS:

Required

· Master’s degree in education from an approved educational institution

· Valid Texas teacher certificate

· Valid Texas Mid-Management or other appropriate Texas administrative certificate

· Minimum of three (3) years of successful teaching experience in a public school

· Minimum of two (2) years of successful experience with data analysis & reporting at the campus/district level

Special Knowledge & Skills

· Working knowledge of curriculum and instruction

· Working knowledge of types of assessments, data results, and data reporting systems

· Ability to work with large amounts of data: facts, figures, and analysis

· Ability to coordinate with campus/district personnel to identify data reporting needs

· Advanced computer and technology skills (e.g., spreadsheets, databases, SPSS, etc.)

· Strong analytical and quantitative skills with demonstrated ability to support meaning from raw data

· Ability to interpret policy, procedures, and data

· Experience in developing, mentoring, and coaching educators

· Strong organizational, communication, leadership, and interpersonal skills

· Ability to work well with a diverse population
