Who We’re Looking For:
As a Family Mentor, you’ll play a vital role in promoting principles of recovery, including hope, empowerment, support, self-determination, and community connection. You will serve as a positive role model, demonstrating a caring, professional attitude to the individuals we serve, their families, and our team.
Job Summary (Including but not limited to):
- Lead and facilitate family group activities that support and empower families in their recovery journey.
- Educate staff to foster understanding and reduce stigma associated with family recovery.
- Attend Child & Family Team (CFT) meetings, helping families identify their unique culture and concerns.
- Connect participants and families with essential resources.
- Provide consultation on community resources to adult clinical team members.
- Maintain accurate, thorough, and current documentation.
Minimum Qualifications:
- High School Diploma/GED (required).
- 1-3 years of behavioral healthcare experience or experience as a caregiver of a service participant (preferred).
- Successful completion of a pre-employment drug screening.
- Ability to obtain and maintain a Level One Fingerprint Clearance Card and pass additional background checks as required.
- Valid AZ driver’s license, a 39-month MVR, and proof of insurance and vehicle registration (if applicable).
