Copywriter 2/Content Quality and Process

The Copy Writer 2/Content Quality and Process ensures the quality and accuracy of content and efficient production. The Copy Writer’s duties will include content process and management, copy editing, managing legal/compliance risk reviews process, and training.

Responsibilities

The Copy Writer 2/Content Quality and Process contributes to enterprise goals of speed, efficiency in content delivery into and across channels. The Copy Writer 2 leads work to adopt and use technology in this content production process. Will be a key part of the content publication process as an author within content management system. This team member completes timely, detailed copy editing for clarity, accessibility, grammar and adherence to Humana’s brand and editorial guidelines. Guides content through business and legal risk review process. Optimizes speed to market through identifying and mitigating/reducing redundancies in the review process. Follows established guidelines/procedures.

Required Qualifications and Experience

• 3–5 years copy editing and content process management experience
• Strong detail orientation and ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
• Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Word suite and SharePoint
• Experience using editorial style manuals, such as AP Stylebook
• Experience managing content processes within a regulated industry
• Experience building relationships and working with team members in other locations
• Ability to interact with all levels of associates and technical resources
• Strong communication, project management and critical thinking skills
• Ability to multi-task and manage competing priorities
• Self-motivated, comfortable leading initiatives where ambiguity exists

Preferred Experience

• Basic and advanced authoring experience with AEM content management system or similar
• Experience creating, managing and/or optimizing content processes
• Experience working in an Agile environment

WAH requirements: Must have the ability to provide a high-speed DSL or cable modem for a home office. Associates or contractors who live and work from home in the state of California will be provided payment for their internet expense.

A minimum standard speed for optimal performance of 25x10 (25mpbs download x 10mpbs upload) is required.
