Position Overview: 

We are seeking a dynamic and analytical Consumer Insights Analyst to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for understanding consumer behavior and trends, providing actionable insights, and driving strategic decisions to enhance our market positioning. This role requires a blend of analytical expertise, creativity, and strong communication skills to transform data into compelling stories that influence business strategies.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Conduct primary and secondary research to gather data on consumer behavior, preferences, and trends.
  • Analyze quantitative and qualitative data to extract meaningful insights that drive business decisions.
  • Create comprehensive reports and presentations that clearly communicate findings and recommendations to stakeholders.
  • Work closely with marketing, product development, sales, and other departments to ensure insights are integrated into business strategies.
  •  Stay updated with industry trends, market conditions, and competitive landscape to provide proactive insights.
  • Develop and refine customer segmentation strategies to better target and serve various consumer groups.
  • Design, implement, and analyze surveys and other data collection tools to gather consumer feedback.
  • Translate complex data into understandable and actionable insights, effectively communicating with non-technical stakeholders.

 

You will likely have:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business Administration, Psychology, Statistics, or a related field.
  • 3 - 5 years of experience in consumer insights, market research, or a related field.
  • Experience with survey platforms like Qualtrics or SurveyMonkey. 
  • Experience in data management using SQL, python or other data management languages.  
  • Proficiency in data analysis tools such as SPSS, SAS, R, or similar. 
  • Strong Excel and PowerPoint skills.
  • Exceptional analytical and problem-solving abilities with a keen attention to detail.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to present data-driven insights in a clear and compelling manner.
  • Strong collaboration skills with the ability to work effectively in cross-functional teams.
  • Understanding of consumer behavior theories and methodologies, and experience applying them in a business context
  • Experience working on consumer insights for a DTC or B2C business

 

You may have:

  • Experience in DTC Digital health or Telehealth.
  • Advanced degree in a quantitative field.  
  • Experience in a fast-paced start-up experience and are comfortable with ambiguity. 
  • Familiarity with data visualization tools such as Tableau or Power BI.
  • Experience with digital marketing analytics, social media insights and product development.
