Engagement Manager - AI Implementation Practice

We are building a next-generation, independent consulting and Managed Service Provider (MSP) practice focused on implementing AI-native products and workflows for forward-thinking companies. Our clients range from mid-sized growth firms to Fortune 500 enterprises, and we help them solve complex challenges by integrating cutting-edge AI platforms into their operations.

Role Overview:

As a EM, you will be the engine behind delivering successful AI implementation projects. You’ll work closely with Partners to translate strategic objectives into actionable work plans, oversee junior team members, and manage critical client-facing workstreams. This role is ideal for candidates who have proven analytical, communication, and project management skills and are eager to shape best practices in a rapidly evolving domain.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead discrete workstreams within AI implementation projects, from problem-framing through execution and delivery.

• Conduct data analysis, map out workflows, and develop recommendations on integrating AI tools into clients’ existing operations.

• Manage day-to-day client communications, ensuring clarity, alignment, and timely progress updates.

• Collaborate with internal technical teams to customize AI solutions, refine methodologies, and capture lessons learned for future engagements.

• Coach and mentor more junior consultants, providing structured feedback and fostering professional growth within the team.

Qualifications:

• 2–4 years of experience at a top-tier consulting firm (e.g. Bain, McKinsey, BCG) or a similarly rigorous advisory environment.

• Demonstrated success in handling complex analytical tasks, synthesizing insights, and communicating recommendations to stakeholders.

• Comfort with ambiguity and willingness to learn new technologies and concepts quickly. Prior experience in AI, machine learning, or data analytics is a plus but not required.

• Exceptional project management, stakeholder engagement, and communication skills.
