We're seeking a creative and technically-minded student software engineer to join our founding team. You'll work directly with senior engineers to build delightful features using modern web technologies, focusing on smooth animations, micro-interactions, and pixel-perfect implementation.
Implement charming user interfaces using PixiJS and modern JavaScript
Create smooth, playful animations and transitions using Tweenjs
Develop and optimize particle systems for ambient effects
Collaborate with designers to bring pixel art assets to life
Write clean, maintainable code with proper documentation
Participate in code reviews and technical discussions
Currently enrolled in Computer Science or related program
Strong foundation in JavaScript/TypeScript
Experience with modern frontend frameworks (React preferred)
Basic understanding of 2D graphics and animation concepts
Ability to work remotely and communicate effectively in English
Eye for detail and appreciation for polished user experiences
Experience with PixiJS, Tweenjs, or similar game development libraries
Interest in pixel art and creative coding
Previous work on personal game or creative coding projects
Basic understanding of WebGL and canvas performance optimization
Experience with real-time multiplayer applications
