About the Role: We are looking for an experienced Administrative Support Associate to join our team in Core Technology to provide support for the Qualified for Regulated Operating Unit (QREG). This role will require excellent customer service, solution-oriented thinking, and an ability to design and implement process improvements. You will possess a willingness and capacity to collaborate across multiple disciplines within the business and be able to build and maintain strong interpersonal relationships.
This role will be located at our facility in Elkton, Maryland.
Responsibilities:
- Engage with both internal and external customers in a variety of ways (in Gore facilities, virtually, regionally, and globally)
- Anticipate and proactively assist with administrative tasks in an accurate, timely, self-managed manner with a high level of confidentiality (Tasks include meeting scheduling/ managing calendars, coordinating travel, facilities, and equipment; handling onboarding tasks; coordinate and assist with anniversary celebrations, team milestone celebrations, and team building events; generate, proofread, and distribute correspondence, presentations, and reports, ensuring data integrity, maintain databases and team files as required; track and file expenses)
- Perform a document control function supporting the regulated batch notification procedures for shipping product as well as maintaining and tracking critical data
- Ensure timely follow through and completion of everyday tasks, projects, communication, and correspondence while utilizing current technology, software, tools, and systems to support your teams
- Analyze and anticipate the needs of your teams and projects and respond with proactive and creative solutions to routine and non-routine requests
- Adapt to evolving business needs, and be able to change direction with cooperation and flexibility
- Recognize, implement and participate in process improvement initiatives
- Collaborate with diverse teams and communicate complex information across Associates and groups
- Develop strong network and partnerships; leverage partnerships with your teammates and customers to move business processes forward and work effectively as part of a team
Required Qualifications:
- Minimum 3 years of experience in an Administrative support or similar type role
- Experience in project follow-through from conception to completion
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite-including Outlook email and calendar management, MS Teams (collaboration & meetings), SharePoint, OneDrive, Word, PowerPoint, and Excel with the ability to learn new tools and technologies as needed
- Perform administrative duties accurately in a fast-paced environment while maintaining a high level of customer service and confidentiality
- Strong organizational skills, with high attention to detail
- Self-directed and motivated, with consistent drive for continued learning
- Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively in both written and verbal format
- Demonstrated ability to change direction with skill and willingness when circumstances demand and to collaborate with a diverse range of people and job functions
- Demonstrated ability to prioritize effectively, accurately, and quickly
- Demonstrated ability to provide consistent timely feedback
- Ability to travel 5% (required between local facilities and occasionally to offsite events)
