Cost Control Intern

• Knowledge and understanding of cost analysis, forecasting, budget preparation
• Ability to meet deadlines in a timely and effective manner within a high-pressure environment
• Ability to liaise effectively at all levels of the organization, Good communication skills
• Advanced in Microsoft Excel.

Responsibilities include but not limited to:

Budget/Reporting/Close

• Provide accurate reporting of TEEP AME activities by way of monthly YTD Reports, Financial Summaries, and Quarterly and Annual reports
• Present YTD Financials and variance analysis to TEEPAME team
• Develop budget and forecasts estimating Personnel costs, Intercompany services, and other expenses and determining rates for reinvoicing personnel costs
• Provide regular updates of TEEP AME cost performance and variances versus budget
• Respond to inquiries and provide data as necessary for tax, audit, affiliates, and various internal departments
• Ensure prompt time writing and billing to clients/affiliates (revenues) and prompt payment of vendor invoices (costs)
• Review and post timely and accurate accruals for affiliates based on anticipated costs and projected revenues
• Prepare and analyze monthly Profit & Loss, Cash Flow, and Balance Sheet statements for reporting.

Other:

• Ensure timely compliance with Transfer Pricing and At-Cost Audit information requests
• Monitor TEEP AME’s Loans and Deposit (L&D) and working capital/funding requirements/overdraft situation
• Monitor Withholding Taxes (WHT) paid for future recovery in the US
• Perform DOA audits for invoice payment proposals

Provide support to TEEP AME Asset Managers in preparation of annual budget and forecasts. Demonstrate good understanding of SAP and overall accounting principles. Demonstrate flexibility and teamwork approach to dealing with work. Ability to work independently and meet deadlines. Demonstrate a good understanding of the cost control process and accounting.
