The Team: 

Graphic Designers on the Brand Design team create experiences that elevate the Datadog brand. Whether we are redesigning the company website or creating an identity for a brand new conference from the ground up, we strive to create a simple and clear visual language that cuts through the noise. The Brand Design team is a close-knit group that shares a passion for our craft, supported by a culture that sees design as an integral part of Datadog's success. The Opportunity:

The Brand Design team creates experiences that elevate the Datadog brand. Whether we are redesigning the company website or creating an identity for a brand new event from the ground up, we strive to create a simple and clear visual language that cuts through the noise. The Brand Design team is a close-knit group that shares a passion for our craft, supported by a culture that sees design as an integral part of Datadog's success. As part of the Creative Marketing department, we collaborate within our team and with various other teams across the company. We’re seeking an inspirational design leader who can help take our visual identity to the next level. This is a full-time and onsite role in our NYC office with flexible WFH.

You Will:


  • Lead Datadog’s global design team, managing a team of 15+ designers and illustrators, to continue creating compelling creative solutions which are on brand, yet still push the envelope 
  • Oversee Datadog’s design direction and execution of brand design strategy, and proactively create and execute on new ideas to further the brand identity.
  • Own Datadog’s Brand Design portfolio across a wide array of assets, such as web, digital ads, social media, presentations, and event experiences 
  • Elevate, build, and extend Datadog’s design and brand systems to drive brand quality and consistency at global scale
  • Build efficiencies and scale by overhauling and creating processes, and workflows.
  • Recruit, mentor and grow a team of amazing creative talent

You Are:

  • Proven creative leader with 15+ years of experience at a technology company or global advertising or design agency.
  • A talented design professional with a diverse portfolio of integrated and innovative work.
  • Possess extensive experience working with corporate style guides and brand systems.
  • Effective in presenting creative concepts, synthesizing feedback from cross-functional stakeholders, and providing actionable design next steps 
  • Have impeccable attention to detail, excellent art direction and design sensibility
  • Demonstrated experience building and scaling successful creative teams, including managing managers and nurturing creative talent.
