Senior Director of Revenue Strategy - Lifestyle/Independent CollectionOverview:This role aims to maximize the overall hotel revenue for a portfolio of hotels through the development and implementation of effective transient/group inventory and pricing strategies based on future demand forecasts.This position can be based remotely within the United States. The successful candidate will have a strong Lifestyle/Independent background.Essential Functions:• Formulate and deploy transient/group strategies designed to maximize revenue and profitability.• Prepare and facilitate the regular revenue meetings.• Review sales opportunities and provide recommendations that support the performance and profitability strategies of the hotel.• Act as revenue management system subject matter expert, owning the settings, influences, and overrides that contribute to overall system optimization.• Analyze month-end reporting and critique prior strategies for opportunities to continually improve performance.• Manage/monitor Central Reservations System, Global Distribution Systems, and third-party business intelligence tools to ensure alignment with strategy and intended outcomes.• Assist in the preparation of monthly reporting, forecasts, annual budgets, and business plans.• Stay up to date with industry trends and best practices to drive continuous performance improvement.Supportive Functions:In addition to the performance of the essential functions, this position may be required to perform a combination of the following supportive functions, with the percentage of time performing each function to be determined by the requirements of each hotel.• Professionally represent the hotel by participating in hotel owner meetings, hotel brand, and industry functions.• Develop working relationships with hotel sales and operations leaders, providing consultation on strategies for booking optimal group, catering, and special corporate business.• Continually monitor actions of competitive hotels (product quality improvements, supply changes, pricing strategies, service offerings, etc.) and market demand drivers.Other Functions:• Travel as required to property meetings, training, industry events, and corporate meetings.• Regular attendance in conformance with the standards, which may be established from time to time, is essential to the successful performance of this position. Employees with irregular attendance will be subject to disciplinary action, up to and including termination of employment.• Due to the cyclical nature of the hospitality industry, employees may be required to work varying schedules to reflect the business needs of the hotel. In addition, attendance at all scheduled training sessions and meetings is required.• Upon employment, all employees are required to fully comply with Crestline Hotels & Resorts rules and regulations for the safe and effective operation of the hotel's facilities. Employees who violate hotel rules and regulations will be subject to disciplinary action, up to and including termination of employment.Experience:• Bachelor's degree in Hotel Administration, Business Administration, or related field.• Minimum five years of hotel management experience with a minimum of three years in revenue management required.• Both independent and branded hotel experience in Revenue Management are essential.• Proficient in effective hotel pricing concepts, yield management optimization, and selling strategies.• Essential statistical and analytical skills are required to identify revenue opportunities and shortfalls.• Exceptional communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence stakeholders at all levels.• Experience working collaboratively with hotel sales and operations leadership.• Ability to thrive in a multi-tasked and fast-paced environment while working both independently and cross-functionally to achieve strategic goals.Crestline Hotels & Resorts is an Equal Opportunity Employer/Affirmative Action Employer.
