By joining our Corporate Development team, you will play a key role in identifying, evaluating, and executing M&A opportunities to help execute CrossCountry’s growth strategy. 


What You'll Do: Own the M&A Lifecycle
  • Relationship Management: Cultivate and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including investment bankers, executives, investors, industry partners, and potential targets, to facilitate collaboration and strategic alignment. 
  • Opportunity Identification: Proactively identify potential M&A targets through market research, industry analysis, and strategic networking, and engaging with targets as the face of CrossCountry.
  • Valuation and Financial Modeling: Conduct comprehensive valuation analyses and financial modeling to assess the strategic and financial impact of potential transactions. 
  • Due Diligence: Lead the due diligence process for potential acquisitions, including financial, legal, and tax analysis, market assessment, and risk evaluation.
  • Deal Structuring: Support senior leadership in negotiations and deal structuring with the goal of secure favorable transaction terms that align with CrossCountry’s objectives.
  • Integration Planning: Develop integration plans for acquired companies or strategic partnerships to ensure seamless transitions and maximize synergies with CrossCountry’s existing solutions and capabilities.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Collaborate effectively with internal teams, including finance, legal, and operations to execute corporate development initiatives and ensure alignment with CrossCountry’s overall business objectives.
  • Market Research and Analysis:Stay informed about industry trends, competitive landscapes, and emerging technologies to inform new growth opportunities (inclusive of buy vs build). 


What You'll Bring
  • 7+ years of relevant work experience.
  • Proven track record of success in corporate development, investment banking, private equity, or management consulting, with a focus on mergers and acquisitions.
  • Knowledge of the professional services and technology consulting industry and market dynamics preferred.
  • Strong executive presence with the ability to independently interact with C-level leadership.
  • Strong financial acumen and analytical skills, with experience conducting financial analysis, valuations, and financial modeling.
  • Project management / organizational skills.
  • Excellent negotiation and communication skills, with the ability to influence and build relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Strategic thinker with a demonstrated ability to develop and execute corporate development strategies that drive business growth and create value.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to lead cross-functional teams and collaborate effectively across the organization.
  • Bachelor's degree or MBA in business administration, finance, or a related field.
