The Crowd Management Coordinator will assist the Program Manager of Crowd Control with the scheduling of staff, verifying payroll and onboarding for the ND Usher Program, for more than 1300 athletic and special University events throughout the year. This position will assist with scheduling ushers for various events, verifying weekly payroll, as well performing routine office functions. This position may be called upon to work nights and/or weekends to supervise events. This position may also be called upon to find ushers for last minute events at any time of the day or night. The hours for this position can be flexible, and may require some work from home. Events may begin as early as 5:00 am, and end as late as 1:30 am. The expectation is that this individual will work 15 hours per week in the office. Confidentiality is also a strong part of this position because of the necessity to handle employee payroll records and possible police matters such as removals during major events.

Minimum Qualifications:
  • High school diploma or GED
  • Computer skills a must with knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, as well as the Google suite
  • Written and verbal communication, and office organization skills required
  • Event staffing and/or Guest services experience preferred



Preferred Qualifications:
Minimum 2-4 years of experiences in guest services, event staff, ushering
