On a daily basis, you will

As the Head of Engineering, you will lead our Research & Development team and oversee the industrialization of CryptoNext’s product range, ensuring adherence to quality, roadmap timelines, and technical commitments. Your responsibilities include:

  • Defining the product architecture: Anticipate both short- and long-term technical developments to ensure scalability and robustness.
  • Driving certifications: Implement tools and methodologies to meet high-security certification standards (e.g., Common Criteria, FIPS).
  • Strategic coordination: Collaborate with the Product team to align the product roadmap with long-term goals.
  • Customer focus: Partner with customer support teams to address client challenges and enhance satisfaction.
  • Funding and partnerships: Contribute to fundraising initiatives and establish technological partnerships.
  • Product lifecycle management: Oversee the full lifecycle of CryptoNext’s products, from design to maintenance.
  • Team leadership: Coordinate and manage the multidisciplinary R&D team, fostering innovation and collaboration.
  • Reporting: Communicate R&D progress and commitments to the CTO and executive management.

The skills you’ll need

Education and Experience

  • A degree in engineering or a related field, with a focus on IT or cybersecurity.
  • At least 10 years of professional experience, including 5 years leading multidisciplinary R&D teams.

Technical Expertise

  • Strong background in cryptography, embedded systems, and application software architecture.
  • Proven ability to make informed technical and architectural decisions.

Language Skills

  • Fluency in French and English, both written and spoken, with the ability to manage multinational teams and communicate effectively.
