We’re looking for a Customer Success Architect to support our Managed Services team.

Position Summary

The Customer Success Architect (CSA) serves as a trusted technical advisor to customers throughout the full life-cycle of their adoption of FedRAMP and Coalfire’s Cybersecurity service offerings. The CSA drives continued value of our services, accelerates business outcomes and develops strategic partnerships with key organizational leaders.

What You'll Do

    • Provide business case qualification to customers on their highly regulated cloud environments, including operations, security, and compliance
    • Create roadmap and cloud architecture blueprint that aligns with the vision of key customer stakeholders including CIOs, CISOs, CTOs and Product Managers
    • Drive opportunities and bookings by supporting the sales team via onsite & remote meetings
    • Maintain current functional and technical knowledge of all Cloud Services offerings
    • Support customer executive monthly briefings as well as strategic guidance when technical program questions arise
    • Provide recommendations on policy, procedure, tools, and resources to increase program effectiveness
    • Partner with Coalfire Advisory team to increase opportunities for FedRAMP education, cost benefit analysis and market reuse/expansion
    • Review customer engagement feedback (NPS/CSAT) to better understand customer personas, program needs and risks impeding delivery
    • Provide regular feedback to sales leadership and services leadership around the performance of their resources to drive improvements in the sales and delivery processes
    • Proactively advocates customer needs/issues cross-departmentally from intake to resolution
    • Perform service engagement delivery management (overseeing project governance, service delivery schedules, status, and client communications)
    • Travel 30-45%

What You'll Bring

    • 15 years of experience in information systems security, engineering, and relevant experience with solution delivery, practice management, customer-facing consulting, and/or portfolio management
    • 5 years of experience in public cloud architectures (Amazon Web Services, Microsoft Azure, Google Cloud)
    • 3 years of experience in delivering infrastructure as code (Terraform, CloudFormation)
    • 5+ years of enterprise technical sales experience
    • Incident Response/Handling Experience including mitigation strategies in cloud architectures
    • Some experience with Secrets Management Solutions (Vault, AWS KMS, AWS Secrets Manager, Azure Key Manager)
    • Some experience with FedRAMP, CMMC, and governing bodies of work (NIST 800-53, NIST 800-171, FIPS-199)
    • Proven program management experience and decision-making at the executive level
    • Experience creating roadmaps with customer stakeholders to help drive solution adoption and business value
    • Excellent communication, presentation, and customer management skills
    • Bachelor’s degree (four-year college or university) or equivalent combination of education and work experience

Required Certifications

    • Cloud Service Provider Architecture Certifications (AWS SA, Azure AZ-304, GGP Architect)

At Coalfire, equal opportunity and pay equity is integral to the way we do business. A reasonable estimate of the compensation range for this role is $94,000 to $163,000 based on national salary averages. The actual salary offer to the successful candidate will be based on job-related education, geographic location, training, licensure and certifications and other factors. You may also be eligible to participate in annual incentive, commission, and/or recognition programs.
