TL;DR

We are looking for a product designer to join our team and help us develop a web & mobile native 3D Editor. You'll get to define the design function at Customuse, working closely with the product/engineering team and the CEO.

This role involves owning all aspects of design at Customuse, deeply understanding our user problems, and creating the perfect experiences to solve for their needs.

  • Take responsibility for all aspects of the Customuse platform, taking concepts from ideation through to implementation.

  • Create prototypes and test them with real users to gather insights and feedback for the product design cycle.

  • Produce high-fidelity designs, while working closely with developers to ensure that all details and design ideas are preserved and implemented.

  • Collaborate closely with engineering and product to sketch out solutions that balance usability and feasibility.

  • Design frictionless and delightful user experiences.

  • Contribute to the Customuse design system.

✨ Who you are ✨

  • You have 3+ years of experience working as a product designer, both web and mobile.

  • You can design interfaces from scratch and have a solid understanding of UX design principles.

  • Your work is organized and tidy, allowing other members of the team to collaborate seamlessly.

  • You have an entrepreneurial and inquisitive nature with great sensitivity towards customers’ wants and needs – at times figuring out what they don’t yet know they want.

  • You have a portfolio demonstrating strong product and visual design sensibilities (required).

Nice to haves:

  • Experience working with 3D-modelling programs (Clo3D, Marvelous Designer, Blender etc.) — this would be awesome 🙂

  • Strong experience in designing and maintaining cross-platform design systems.

  • Experience working in fast-paced startup environment.
