The Director, Solution Architecture leads a team of individual contributors responsible for the "technical win" through a combination of industry/product knowledge and sales skills/competencies. You’ll collaborate with Product, Marketing, Sales Leadership, and Enablement stakeholders to refine our technical selling approach and empower our Solution Architecture (SA) team to execute flawlessly through effective product demonstrations, evaluations, and workshops. Your leadership will be crucial in driving revenue growth, improving win rates, and ensuring customer satisfaction by articulating the value and ROI of the Cyara platform. This role reports to the VP, Solution Sales and Enablement.


Let's talk about the role and responsibilities:
  • Build and lead a high-performing team of Solution Architects who function as the technical subject matter experts during the sales cycle to demonstrate the value of Cyara.
  • Lead, mentor, and develop a team of Solution Architects (e.g., solution consulting techniques, customer engagement best practices, and sales competencies), ensuring high levels of performance, engagement, and professional growth. 
  • Drive the strategy and execution of the SA function to support sales goals and revenue targets.
  • Provide strategic input on product development and enhancements based on market feedback, competitive intel, and customer needs.
  • Oversee the end-to-end pre-sales process, including discovery, solution design, product demonstrations, and proof of concept development. 
  • Ensure SAs are effectively identifying pain points and tailoring solutions to address specific business challenges and financial objectives. 
  • Partner with Account Executives and their leaders to create compelling business cases that demonstrate the value and ROI of our solutions. 
  • Partner closely with the sales team to understand the needs of our customers, strategize how to and assist with navigating sales cycles, and close business. Participate in customer meetings as needed.
  • Monitor and analyze team performance and metrics, identifying areas for improvement and implementing strategies for growth and success
  • Stay current with industry trends, competitor offerings, and emerging technologies to ensure our SA team remains competitive and informed.
  • Monitor and analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) for the SA team, identifying opportunities for improvement in win rates, deal velocity, and customer satisfaction.
  • Report on team performance, project outcomes, and market trends to senior leadership, offering actionable insights. 
  • Play an active role in sourcing and screening potential candidates and managing the interview process. 
  • Attend industry events and conferences to represent Cyara and promote our solutions to potential customers.
  • Lead various ad-hoc internal projects as needed.


Let’s talk about your skills/expertise:
  • 7+ years of pre-sales experience with 4+ years of proven experience leading and developing high-performing teams, preferably within the SaaS space. 
  • Industry expertise in IVR/Contact Center/CCAAS platforms and Conversational AI applications, a plus.
  • Strong understanding of sales process, sales strategies, and partnering with cross-functional teams to drive revenue.
  • Strong business acumen with the ability to connect technology solutions to financial and business outcomes.
  • Expertise in value selling, mapping buyer pain to value, and/or demo to win methodologies, and the ability to coach others to do the same.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and storytelling skills with the ability to engage and influence C-level executives and technical audiences alike, and the ability to coach others to do the same.
  • Exceptional ability to work cross-functionally and lead initiatives in a fast-paced, dynamic environment. Owner mentality.
  • Thrives in a fast-paced, ever-evolving work environment. 
  • Ability to travel up to 10%. 


$200,000 - $240,000 a year
This range indicates OTE. Individual pay is determined by skills, qualifications, experience, and location.
