Accounting Manager - job 4 of 5

Location: Augusta, Georgia (100% onsite)Salary: $70,000-80,000Position OverviewWe are seeking an experienced Accounting Manager to join our team. The Accounting Manager will oversee the financial operations of the company and ensure accuracy and compliance with accounting standards.Key Responsibilities• Manage the day-to-day accounting operations of the company• Supervise accounts payable and accounts receivable functions• Oversee invoice processing, vendor payments, and billing• Prepare and review monthly financial statements and control reports• Lead month-end close process and ensure timely and accurate reporting• Identify opportunities for process improvement and implement changes as needed• Assist with audit preparation and respond to audit inquiries• Manage the Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable team• Develop employees by managing performance, setting goals, offering ongoing training, and maintaining strong employee relationships.• Analyze financial data to recommend or develop efficient use of resources and procedures, make strategic recommendations, and maintain solutions to business and financial problems.• Assist with budgeting and forecasting processes as needed• Other duties as neededQualifications• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance• 5+ years of experience in accounting or financial analysis• 2+ years of experience in a manufacturing environment is preferred• Strong knowledge of GAAP and applicable regulations• Strong experience with accounts payable, accounts receivable, and vendor management• Ability to analyze data and provide financial insights• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills• Ability to work collaboratively and effectively with cross-functional teams• Proficient in MS Office & ERP SystemsBenefits• Medical, Dental, and Vision Insurance• 401K Savings Plan + Company Matching• Vacation and PTO• Life Insurance• Disability Insurance• Employee Discount• Employment Milestone Awards• Growth OpportunitiesEmail Your Resume In Word ToLooking forward to receiving your resume through our website and going over the position with you.
