The Business Development Executive is a pivotal role that will help us continue to grow and exceed our project goals. The Business Development Executive should come with a minimum of 10 years experience in commercial construction and 5+ years of successful experience selling large, ground-up, commercial construction projects upwards of 50M in value. They will develop a sales plan, research and respond to bids, research profitability and constructability of projects, thoroughly review project plans and specifications, identify project risks, maintain documentation in CRM software, foster client relationships, and more.Keep reading and apply today if you meet the required experience and think you'll be successful in this role.What You Will Be Doing• Develop and implement a business growth strategy in Ohio and Indiana• Identify potential clients, build relationships, and manage the sales pipeline to secure new multi-million dollar construction projects• Collaborate with marketing and operations to create persuasive proposals and presentations highlighting the company's capabilities• Manage the entire sales process from initial contact to contract signing, including negotiations and pricing• Foster strong relationships with clients, architects, engineers, and industry partners• Track business development activities, analyze market trends, and provide insights to improve performanceWhat You Need For This Position• Bachelor's Degree in Construction Management, Business Administration, or related and 10+ years experience in commercial construction, working for a General Contractor with projects exceeding 40MM in value is required• 5+ years of proven sales experience for new construction projects exceeding 40MM in value is required• Proven experience with construction CRM software (Cosential preferred)• Proficient in multiple contract delivery methods (Construction Management at Risk, Design-Build)Benefits• Medical• Dental• Vision• 401k w/ Match• PTO• HolidaysEmail Your Resume In Word ToLooking forward to receiving your resume through our website and going over the position with you.
