Job Title: Customer Service Rep (Steel Service)Job Location: Saulk Village, ILSalary: $24-36 an hourRequirements: 3+ years of experience working at a Steel Service centerPosition OverviewWe are seeking a knowledgeable and proactive Customer Service Representative to join our Steel Service team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring customer satisfaction by managing inquiries related to production processes, material availability, and order fulfillment within the steel industry.Key Responsibilities• Act as the primary point of contact for customers regarding their orders and inquiries.• Assist customers with understanding production schedules and material availability.• Coordinate with production teams to ensure timely order fulfillment and material flow.• Provide accurate and timely reporting on order status and inventory levels.• Manage customer relationships by providing exceptional service and support, resolving issues as they arise.• Collaborate with supply chain management to optimize processes and enhance customer experience.Qualifications• High school diploma or equivalent; Bachelor's degree in business or related field preferred.• Proven experience in customer service, preferably in the manufacturing or steel industry.• Familiarity with production processes and supply chain management.• Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively interact with customers and team members.• Ability to analyze data and generate reports related to customer orders and inventory status.• Knowledge of metal blanking processes is a plus.BenefitsLooking forward to receiving your resume through our website and going over the position with you.
