This position will be on-site in any of the following locations: Coralville, IA; Boulder, CO; Redwood City, CA; San Diego, CA; Raleigh, NC. At IDT, we are one global team. Together, we accomplish great things.In this role, you will have the opportunity to:• Owns development and translation of product roadmap/vision into well-defined product requirements including features, user stories, acceptance criteria, and setting deliverable dates.• Key contributor in Agile ceremonies including daily standup, backlog refinement, iteration planning, iteration review, and iteration retro.• Guides collaboration with business stakeholders and Scrum team to create and influence prioritization of product backlog including user stories as well as defects according to business objectives.• Lead the product release plans and set expectations for delivery of new contents for products by determining the target release date.• Facilitate communication of sprints, releases, budgets, issues, and relevant information to business stakeholders.The essential requirements of the job include:• Bachelor’s degree in a science, engineering or IT related field or equivalent experience.• Equivalent experience: 3+ years specifically in roles that demonstrate an understanding of technology, product management, project management, or relevant technical expertise. This experience should ideally showcase skills in product ownership, technical understanding, and cross-functional collaboration.• 3+ years of experience as a Product Owner or similar role in Agile software development including defining product solutions for consumer-facing software.• Excellent interpersonal skills include building trust across teams as well as possessing the ability to articulate, coach, and foster Agile discipline.It would be a plus if you also possess:• Project Management Professional (PMP) certification and working knowledge of project mapping tools.• Certified Scrum Product Owner with working knowledge of agile product management tools.• Life Sciences industry experience in genomics, diagnostics, pharmaceuticals, or academic and commercial research.• Experience managing projects in Gene writing and Gene editing.The salary range for this role is $100K-$125K. This is the range that we in good faith believe is the range of possible compensation for this role at the time of this posting.
