Who You Are 


You are a results-driven product marketing leader with a passion for execution and team leadership. Reporting directly to the VP of Product Marketing, you will be an integral part of Ontic’s Marketing team, working cross-functionally to drive demand and adoption of Ontic’s products in the market.


You excel at turning technical SaaS offerings into clear, compelling narratives that resonate with customers and drive results. As a player-coach, you thrive on rolling up your sleeves to deliver impactful outcomes while building and leading a high-performing team of product marketers. Your ability to collaborate closely with Product, Sales, Customer Success, and other teams ensures alignment and efficiency across go-to-market efforts.


With a strong focus on execution, enablement, and measurable impact, you’ll play a critical role in shaping how Ontic’s products are positioned, launched, and adopted by our target audiences.


Key Responsibilities

Team Leadership
  • Build and lead a team of high-performing product marketers, fostering a culture of collaboration, delivery, and results
  • Act as a player-coach by mentoring team members while also actively contributing to deliverables
  • Set clear goals, measure performance, and support professional development for team members
Market Intelligence
  • Develop and implement a program for qualitative and quantitative market and customer research
  • Conduct ongoing competitive analysis, delivering monthly insights to inform product strategy, positioning, GTM talk tracks, and marketing tactics
  • Create and maintain up-to-date battle cards for Sales and Customer Success teams
Positioning and Messaging
  • Own and develop product-level messaging aligned with Ontic's overarching company positioning, tailored for target buyer segments
  • Ensure the creation of high-impact assets and effective dissemination of messaging across go-to-market channels
Product Launches
  • Own the product launch process and manage launches end-to-end
  • Activate marketing, sales, and customer success channels to deliver successful product launches
  • Collaborate closely with Product Management to deliver market-facing messaging around product roadmap and delivery milestones
Enablement
  • Develop and deliver buyer and product enablement materials, assets and collateral that clear communicate product value using a segmented, personified approach
  • Empower Sales and Customer Success teams to have value-based conversations with prospects and customers
  • Partner closely with the Enablement team to deliver cross-functional enablement programs
Collaboration
  • Champion cross-functional collaboration with Product, Enablement, Pre-Sales Solutions, Sales, Customer Success, and the broader Marketing team
  • Drive alignment and maintain momentum in delivering consistent and impactful product stories


Qualifications
  • 8+ years of experience in product marketing or related fields, with at least 2+ years in a leadership role
  • Proven experience building and managing high-performing teams
  • Expertise in developing positioning, messaging, and go-to-market strategies for multi-product portfolios
  • Strong analytical and research skills, with experience in market and competitive analysis
  • Demonstrated ability to manage complex product launches and align cross-functional stakeholders
  • Exceptional communication and storytelling skills, with an emphasis on translating technical concepts into business value
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced, collaborative environment with a bias toward action
  • Experience in SaaS or B2B technology sectors required
  • Experience in Corporate Physical Security a strong plus


$180,000 - $200,000 a year
Our salary ranges are based on paying competitively for our size and industry and are one part of a total compensation package that also includes benefits and other perks at Ontic. This role also includes a bonus plan and a company equity grant.
