The Sales Training Manager is responsible for supporting the Cepheid University Sales Training process and reports to the Sr. Manager of Sales Training. The Sales Training Manager's is responsible for developing and delivering curriculum, field coaching, and executing training objectives with the goal of achieving and exceeding US sales objectives.This position is part of Cepheid University and will be remote in the U.S. At Cepheid, our vision is to be the leading provider of seamlessly connected diagnostic solutions.In this role, you will have the opportunity to:• Partner with Sales, Clinical Solutions, Sales Enablement, and Marketing teams to assess training needs, developing an implementation plan, and creating, leading, and facilitating learning/training initiatives.• Exercise effective in-person and virtual classroom management skills and escalate issues within Sales Training and Sales Leadership when necessary.• Exhibits exceptional interpersonal communication skills to foster and strengthen relationships with matrix and business partners to support training initiatives.• Manages multiple ongoing projects and demonstrates excellent organizational skills, and project management skills, including project milestones, scope, goals, deliverables, resources, timing, etc.• Field travel to coach field-based sales reps and sales leadership• Demonstration of innovation through creative Adult Learning techniques in both development and delivery of content.The essential requirements of the job include:• BA/BS in Training, Human Resources, Organizational Development, Microbiology, Molecular Diagnostics, or related field preferred:• Bachelor’s degree with 8+ years of related work experience OR• Master’s degree in field with 6+ years of related work experience OR• Doctoral degree in field with 3+ years of work experience• Public speaking, facilitation, and delivery of in-person and virtual training and learning.Travel, Motor Vehicle Record & Physical/Environment Requirements:• Ability to travel – 80% Domestic and International• Must have a valid driver’s license with an acceptable driving record• Ability to lift, move or carry equipment up to 20lb, any other physical requirementsIt would be a plus if you also possess previous experience in:• Bilingual: Spanish/English, French/English, or Portuguese/English• Proficiency in learning technology, online tools, and systems: MS Teams, Seismic, and Power BI• Sales Training experienceCepheid, a Danaher operating company, offers a broad array of comprehensive, competitive benefit programs that add value to our lives. This is the range that we in good faith believe is the range of possible compensation for this role at the time of this posting. We may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range. This range may be modified in the future.This job is also eligible for bonus/incentive pay.We offer comprehensive package of benefits including paid time off, medical/dental/vision insurance and 401(k) to eligible employees.Note: No amount of pay is considered to be wages or compensation until such amount is earned, vested, and determinable.
