Your Next Career Opportunity – Data Analyst II – HR Analytics

The Data Analyst II – HR Analytics will create, collect, compile, analyze, and interpret a variety of critical HR data, metrics, and statistics. And apply this data to illustrate the impact and make recommendations related to a variety of HR-related matters, including but not limited to: strategic initiatives, recruitment, retention, performance management, continuous improvement, and legal compliance. The role will also be accountable for providing direct analytical support to the Senior HR Leadership Team for a wide range of HR programs and policies that will assist in the implementation and administration of business strategies. The incumbent is responsible for designing and creating meaningful graphic visualizations to help HR teams understand trends utilizing descriptive and predictive statistical analysis to enhance operational efficiency while promoting data-driven decisions. Publish various types of interactive dashboards and workbooks with quick data, context, and user filters with scheduled regular refreshes. Provide ad-hoc analysis to key stakeholders to increase adoption and understanding of key performance indicators (KPI).

What You Will Do – Primary Responsibilities

  • Collects and compiles HR and Diversity, Equity and Inclusion (DEI) metrics and data from a variety of sources including the human resource information system (HRIS), management and employee surveys, exit interviews, employment records, government labor statistics, competitors’ practices, and other sources.
  • Analyzes data and statistics for trends and patterns with attention to recruitment, hiring practices, engagement, turnover, and compliance with employment laws and regulations.
  • Prepares reports of data results, presenting and explaining findings to senior leadership.
  • Identifies and recommends reasonable short- and long-term goals, milestones, and benchmarks for key performance metrics (KPI's).
  • Based on metrics and analysis, makes recommendations for policies and activities to improve the organizational culture, including suggestions to attract and hire qualified candidates, to motivate and retain team members, to address talent acquisition issues, and to maintain legal compliance.
  • Leverages data to facilitate implementation of new training, development, recruiting, and other related initiatives.
  • Responsible for completing and analyzing annual compliance reports such EEO1 Component, Vets4212 along with reviewing the annual AAP.
  • Ensures compliance with data privacy regulations and best practices.
  • May conduct or assist with conducting classification audits to ensure that jobs are properly classified as exempt or nonexempt.
  • May assist HR leadership with staffing, recruiting, and departmental budgets.
  • May guide and/or assist with performance, benefit, and compensation review and evaluation processes.
  • Other projects and duties as assigned.

What You’ll Need – Qualifications & Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources or related field of study preferred;
    • and 3-5 years relevant experience preferred. One year of relevant experience may be substituted for each year of Bachelor's Degree education. Candidates must satisfy an H.S. Diploma/GED minimum education requirement.
    • 0-2 years relevant experience to include progressive complexity in HRIS system administration, maintenance, and reporting.
    • 0-2 years experience with BI reporting and analysis and project management.
  • Advanced HRIS experience, knowledge, and proficiency required.
  • Advanced Cognos Business Intelligence Reporting experience is strongly preferred.
  • Prior experience implementing/adding new HRIS modules is strongly preferred.
  • Demonstrated knowledge and advanced proficiency working with Microsoft Office Suite software including Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel, Microsoft PowerPoint and Microsoft Outlook.
