Data Capture Assistant

Data Capture Assistants ensure the data captured by the Optical Character Recognition (OCR) system is accurate and processed in a timely manner.
Job Duties and Responsibilities:
Document Validation (90%)
  • Validate auto and mortgage insurance information captured by optical character recognition (OCR)
  • Ensure documents are correctly identified in batch review to ensure processed to applicable queue
  • Correct data while applying field and lender procedures and exceptions
  • Identify and re-route applicable documents for manual data entry
  • Consistently meet or exceed production and quality standards for processing
  • Display strong attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Effectively communicate verbally and non-verbally in a clear and concise manner
  • Prioritize and handle multiple tasks
  • Work independently in a fast-paced environment with little direct input from supervisor or department management team
  • Strong problem solving and analytical abilities
  • Work in a team environment to meet department goals
  • Recognize and respect confidential information
Workflow Support (10%)
  • Support Insurance Processing Department by processing documents in UniTrac, as needed
  • Other duties as assigned
Qualifications (Education, Experience, Certifications & KSA):
  • High School Diploma or GED required
