Data Visualization Analyst

LMI is seeking a skilled Data Visualization Analyst for the Project Management Office (PMO) within the United States Postal Service (USPS). The candidate will work closely with a geographically diverse project team, including clients, other contractors, and vendor staff, on information technology (IT) focused projects. Successful Data Visualization Analyst demonstrate competency in data visualization (specifically Microsoft PowerBI), developing and tracking performance metrics, data presentation, translating strategic vision into actionable goals and objectives, and relationship management while upholding the highest standard of ethical behavior.

• Developing project and program performance metrics and success criteria
• Conducting after action data assessments and creating deliverables (plans, reports, briefings, etc.) for executive staff
• Developing dashboards, collecting performance data and producing data visualizations, in PowerBI
• Working with other data team to standardize data analysis and management strategies
• Presenting deliverables and visualizations to non-technical audiences
• Developing and implementing data strategies for daily and weekly reports
• Conducting ad hoc analysis, and responding to client request
• Supporting research projects, capability development efforts, and innovation efforts
• Supporting project management, logistics, and communication activities

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology or a related discipline
• 4+ years of professional work experience
• Interest in data visualization and data analytics
• Advanced data visualization and dashboarding skills e.g. Power BI, QLIK, and Tableau
• Ability to work on multiple tasks with tight deadlines
• Advanced Microsoft Office skills, e.g., MS Word, PPT, Excel and Outlook and ability to build polished client deliverables
• Ability to navigate complex organizations
• Excellent analytical, problem solving, and presentation skills
• Excellent customer relationship management skills
• This position requires a Public Trust Clearance. You must be a US citizen.
