Position Summary
Summary:
The Data Architecture team is looking for experienced Data Warehouse Architect who understands how to design efficient data storage systems and enjoys the exploration of data sources and combining them together in meaningful ways. The Data Warehouse Architect reports to the Manager of Data Architecture in executing projects that will positively impact our community's health and well-being. In this role you will explore and deliver the data needed to support analytics that drive our organization forward.
This position assists the other members of the team in data discovery and mapping, ETL and schema design, and review of their projects while also working directly with the data warehouse and data marts when required. S/he will assist in designing Fact and Dimension tables using the Kimbal Data Warehouse Model, develop ETL (extract transform and load) processes using SSIS to populate the data warehouse, prepare and maintain technical documentation to guide system users and/or Analysts.
This role will need a strong technical background across multiple technology stacks to facilitate activities with our corporate IT department and analytics users. They will proactively monitor our internal systems for quality, performance, and reliability ensuring all data is available when it is needed. S/he is expected to perform all work in accordance with all relevant LRH and IS standards, policies, and procedures. May perform other duties as assigned.
Position Details
Detailed responsibilities:
* Standard Work: Data Warehouse Architect I
- Serves as a data warehouse consultant within the department. This includes gathering and interpreting business requirements. Is able to formulate and implement data warehouse solutions based on requirements and following IT methodologies, processes and standards.
- Deployment of SSIS ETL Jobs, Stored Procedures and Views to production servers.
- Participates in the ongoing maintenance of the data warehouse and ETL programs.
- Remains vigilant of data architecture standards and best practices to ensure solutions are maintainable and scalable.
- Oversee the creation and maintenance of specifications, requirements, designs, data flows, test scripts and support plans documentation of data warehouse artifacts.
- Create and modify the structure of database objects in database using T-SQL DDL.
- Implements LRH data security policies across the data warehouse platform including encryption, masking, column and row level permission where necessary.
- Mentoring junior level data warehouse developers.

5+ years' experience with ETL (Extract, Transform, Load) tools
5+ years' experience working with T-SQL or PL-SQL
5+ years of data warehouse design and implementation experience
2-3 years of experience with code review and deployment
1-2 years SQL Server Administration or equivalent
Epic Clarity and Caboodle developer and administration
Experience in supporting client requirements on top Epic Clarity and in Caboodle
Experience in building star, snowflake, and flat data models
Certification:
Essential:
Current Certification in Epic Clarity and Caboodle
Preferred:
Agile SCRUM project management
Experience with Microsoft SQL Server including SSIS
Source Control products specifically Team Foundation Server or Azure Dev Ops
