Database Administrator

This is an On-Site, 1099 Contractor Opportunity

Requirements:

• Ability to work on-site in the Denver, CO. Metro area
• A minimum of 5 years of hands-on experience, post academic
• Bachelor's degree in a related field
• Hands-On Experience with NoSQL/Non-Relational databases: (MongoDB, NoSQL, DynamoDB, Cassandra) is a must
• Extensive SQL knowledge

Role, Duties and Responsibilities:

• Data modeling and database design.
• Metadata management and repository usage.
• Database schema creation and management.
• Implementing Backup and recovery procedures.
• Ensuring data integrity.
• Performance management and tuning.
• Ensuring availability.
• SQL code reviews.
• Procedural skills to help design, debug, implement, and maintain stored procedures, triggers, and user-defined functions that are stored in the DBMS.
• Data security.
• Capacity planning.
• General database management.
• General systems management and networking skills.
• Extensible data type administration.
• Web-specific technology expertise.
• Storage management techniques.

Job Type: Contract

Pay: Up to $56.00 per hour

Schedule:

• 8 hour shift
• Monday to Friday

Ability to commute/relocate:

• Denver, CO: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Required)

Experience:

• NoSQL: 5 years (Required)
• Database administration: 5 years (Required)
