Power Electronics Intern

General information:

Hitachi Energy has an open position of Research Internship for Power Electronics for it's Raleigh, NC location. You will work under the guidance and supervision of designated researcher and with a team of researchers on power converter modeling, control, and prototyping. Duration of internship: 4 months

Responsibilities:

Contribute to the research project by designing, testing, and validating Power Electronic converter concepts for grid connected applications. Perform modeling and analysis to support design decisions for realizing high voltage modular power switch using low-voltage semiconductor devices. Component selection and design of printed circuit boards. Dissemination of the research findings through reports and presentations.
